Pavel Korolev

Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation

Pavel was born in 1960. He graduated from the Financial and Economic Institute. He had a foreign assignment in Germany from 1996 till 2002 as the Manager of the representative office of the Russian Academy of Economics and Entrepreneurship there. Pavel continued his career as the First Deputy Director General and the CFO of the Moscow International Cooperation Center under the Government of Moscow from 2002 till 2004. He was in the office of the Advisor and Deputy Manager of the Property Relations and Restructuring Department of the Russian Transport Ministry from 2004 till 2009. From 2009 he worked in the Administration of the Government of the Russian Federation, became a Deputy Administration Manager for the Sverdlovsk Regional Governor later on and then the Vice-President of the Skolkovo Fund and its Administration Manager. April 2011 saw him become the Deputy Chairman of the Sverdlovsk Regional Government, the Administration Manager of the Sverdlovsk Regional Government and the First Deputy Chairman of the Sverdlovsk Regional Government. On June 13, 2012, he was appointed the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In 2010 Pavel was decorated with the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland of the 2nd Degree by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev.
