Andrey Goltsblat

He concentrates primarily on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, joint ventures, different types of investment projects as well as counseling directors and senior management of domestic and overseas companies in connection with investment projects and deal structuring in Russia and the CIS.

In 1991-1994 Andrey Goltsblat as Chief of Staff for the Constitutional Commission of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR headed an expert group for development of the Constitution of the RF.

Andrey Goltsblat and his team’s recent Russia related M&A work includes advising: on the sale of the majority shareholding in a crop protection product distributor to Arysta LifeScience; RusHydro in connection with a strategic alliance an joint venture with Voith; Operating Divisions of OMS on the acquisition of Forum Facility Management, commercial operator of the Moscow Aurora Business Park, with a total area of over 150 thousand sq.m.; Mars on the Wrigley acquisition for $23 bn.; Sberbank of Russia on a joint Sportloto project with Russkoye Loto Group; on investment of Sberbank of Russia and its related acquisition of 25%+1 share in Detskiy mir - Centre (deal value is RUR 3.4 bn); The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) on a several equity investments in Russian companies; EBRD and UFG Private Equity on investments into Russian Towers, a Russian telecommunication services company; a major Russian state bank on the proposed acquisition of a software developer; RP Capital on the acquisition of Silver City office complex in Moscow; Danone on sale of its St. Petersburg subsidiary and LG International on its investments in the Russian coal mining sector.

Andrey Goltsblat has been awarded the medal of the Federal Chamber of Attorneys of the Russian Federation "For services in support of human rights and liberties".

For several years running, he has been mentioned by The European Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and Who’s Who Legal as a recommended individual in the Corporate/ M&A and Construction/ Real estate areas.
