Rostelecom’s New Moscow home office will be completed by the end of this year

RD Construction is in the final phase of completing Rostelecom’s new headquarters with over 50,000 square metres. The corporate structure is in the Comcity Business Park in New Moscow. RD Construction is the General Contractor for managing design documents and all types of operations (construction, installation, finishing and commissioning-adjustment work).

Rostelecom plans to move its regional branch staff, management team and several subsidiary companies to its new headquarters. Construction of this centre is currently the largest project in the corporate real estate segment with an investment of over 2 billion roubles.

This new headquarters has allowed Rostelecom to manage more competently the corporate real estate which includes selling part of its sites, in particular, the company’s old headquarters building. The seven-storey centre with almost 5,000 sq. m was assessed at 1.3 billion roubles.

In addition to its former headquarters, Rostelecom put on the market a pre-revolutionary building on Plyushchikh, which previously belonged to Svyazinvest state holding company, and a building on Zubovskaya Square.
