Peter Weiss

Peter Weiss holds a master´s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and focused on Controlling and Information Technology. 1997, he started his career in Creditanstalt as a project manager and joined Erste Group in January 1999.

From 2003 on, he held various management positions within Group Org/IT and acted as supervisory board member of several Erste subsidiaries. In late 2011 Peter, besides his line function as Deputy Group CIO, stepped into the program management function of the Erste Campus User program, since December 2013 Peter was exclusively focusing on the Campus User Program dealing with all context-projects. After successful completion of the Campus project, Peter in December 2016 took over the group-wide responsibility for Project Management standards, education programmes, job profiling, hiring & assessment procedures as well as Project Quality Assurance processes in ERSTE Group.
